Changelog

What changed, when, and what it means for you. Internal work that doesn't change what you or your customers see isn't listed.

  1. Booking confirmations, and answers held to your facts

    • Customers who book into your Google Calendar and give an email get a confirmation, with a link to cancel or choose a new time. You're told about every change.
    • If your assistant starts to say something about your business that nothing backs up, it withdraws it and hands the question to you instead.
    • Facts your assistant only inferred from your website wait for you to confirm them on Knowledge before it uses them.
    • Text alerts can go through Plivo as well as Twilio.
    • New business types: veterinary clinics, auto repair, roofing and pest control, each with its own safety rules and lead questions. Home services now covers garage doors.
    • Medical clinics get an information-only assistant: it answers from your website, never collects patient details, and keeps no chat text.
    • Sign in with Google, and reset a forgotten password by email, from redesigned sign-in and sign-up pages.
    • Plans now say what they carry: every plan answers from your website and sends you its leads, and the pricing page lists what else each one includes.
    • Lead alerts can now go to WhatsApp as well as text and email, where your plan includes it.
    • Mark an answer right on the Test page, not only wrong. If the answer later changes, we tell you the tick is out of date.
    • The chat speaks your visitor's language throughout now, including its buttons and the box they type in.
  2. Plans, a Free plan and a new menu

    • Plans: Free, Starter, Growth, Pro and Enterprise, billed monthly or yearly.
    • The free trial is now 7 days or 200 customer messages, then you stay on Free.
    • A Free account keeps its website address while its assistant is in use.
    • The chat now says "AI assistant for" your business at the top.
    • On a phone, the chat has a close button.
    • Business-type rules, like sending a gas smell to 911 first, now apply even once a month's allowance is used up.
    • With a backup contact set, an unanswered lead now reaches them 15 minutes after the first alert.
    • Stricter rules for each business type: safety first for home services, no health details for dental, AI-not-a-lawyer for law firms, no SSNs for accountants and more.
    • New website pages: features, use cases, setup guides, security, agencies and Enterprise.
  3. Results, webhooks and edit previews

    • Results: measure what your assistant adds against visitors who never saw it.
    • Send new leads to Zapier, Make, a CRM or your own system by webhook.
    • Preview what an edit to a fact or FAQ will change before you save it.
    • To check now lists answers your assistant wasn't sure of.
    • Delete your account yourself, from the page listing your assistants.
    • Your chat page fits phone screens.
  4. Choose what your assistant learns from

    • Pick which pages it reads, add pages, import your sitemap, and write FAQs.
    • New To check page: facts that contradict each other and questions it couldn't answer.
    • "Someone asked to speak to you" alerts, with each handed-over question on Home.
    • Bookings ask for a name and contact first, become leads and send you an alert.
    • When a price isn't published, it says the price depends on the job and takes details.
    • Color changes reach your website without new code.
    • Changing your business type keeps your corrections.
  5. Reading more of your website, and emergency alerts

    • After signup your assistant reads more of your website in the background.
    • Emergency leads out of hours can wake you, on by default if your website advertises 24/7 service.
    • Opening hours are read from your website.
    • Home warns you before a monthly limit and when alerts aren't getting through.
    • Junk leads no longer count, and each website has its own Leads inbox.
  6. Bookings and business types

    • Book from the chat with any scheduling link, or with Google Calendar and real free times.
    • Business types shape the questions, lead details and rules for nine kinds of business.
    • Replies appear word by word as they're written.
    • Your assistant knows the time where you are, and whether you're open.
