A chat widget is the small button in the corner of a website that opens a chat. On a business website it's where customers ask the question that decides whether they get in touch.
Ours stays out of the way until someone wants it: it never pops open by itself, loads the chat only when it's clicked, and runs the same assistant on every page of your site.

We confirm it's live
The Widget page shows when it was first and last seen on your site. If it isn't live a day after you sign up, we email you.
What it does
A widget that looks like part of your website
Your color
It picks up your website's brand color to start with. Change it in Settings and it updates on your site without new code.
Your greeting
Write the first message customers see, and up to four suggested questions they can tap.
One quiet line of ours
A small "Powered by" line sits under the message box. It's grey, it's one line, and it's the only thing in the chat that isn't yours. Take it off for $25 a month, on any plan, from your Billing page.
Works on phones
On a phone the chat opens full screen, with a close button at the top.
A shareable chat page
Every assistant has its own chat page you can link from social media, emails, a QR code or your Google Business Profile.
Light and polite
A small, dependency-free script. The bubble never opens by itself, and the chat only loads when someone clicks it.
What it won't do
What you can't change yet
It's deliberately simple to set up. That means fewer knobs.
- The bubble sits in the bottom-right corner. Its position and icon can't be changed.
- You can't add your own logo, avatar, fonts or CSS.
- The shareable chat page is on our address, not your own domain.
- It works on any site you can add a script to. Sites that don't allow scripts on your plan need the chat page instead.

What is a chat widget?

Yes. Every account starts with a free trial that carries every feature, then stays on the Free plan for as long as you like, with 50 customer messages a month.
How do I add a chat widget to my website?
Copy the one line of code from your Widget page and paste it into your website's footer. Our setup guides walk through WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify and plain HTML.
Does the chat widget work on WordPress, Squarespace or Wix?
Yes, on plans that let you add code to your site. Squarespace needs the Core plan or above, and Wix needs a paid plan with a connected domain. Otherwise, use your shareable chat page.
What if I can't edit my website?
Share your assistant's chat page instead. It's the same assistant on a page of its own, ready to link from anywhere.
Will it slow my website down?
The script is small and loads without blocking your page, and the chat itself only loads when someone clicks the bubble.
